What Is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a fitness program designed around the things you do in your every day life like bending down to pick things up, putting something on a shelf that is higher than your head, sitting down and standing up, running after your kids or stepping over a barb wire fence, climbing a flight of steps or carrying a heavy object from the garage to the backyard. CrossFit prepares you for all of that and more by performing similar movements in our workouts. The workouts are different every day, incorporating varied movements to continually improve mobility, strength, and conditioning. Workouts are done in a competition format to help you work harder than you would on your own.

Step 1: Try It First

Step 2: Foundations
We require all prospective members to take our Foundations course. This course will systematically teach you the philosophy and fundamental movements of CrossFit and guide you into our group workouts comprised of gymnastics, Olympic lifting, kettlebells, running, rowing and various other skills incorporated into exciting and challenging “workouts of the day” (WOD). This course also allows you to get familiar with all the ins and outs of the gym so you know exactly where everything is and takes the guess work out of those “first-time” workouts.

The cost of the Foundations course is $100.00 and is critical for understanding CrossFit.
